It s toothpaste. My son doesn't mind the smell or taste, but he was put off by the color Cutting back on the dyes so as I parent I have no complaints.

Update: they must have changed the formula, it's way less goopy now.I... did not want this to be my magic toothpaste. It's super messy, it pools in its own lid, it gets all over the place, with the consistency of watered-down caulk. But it's one of the very few toothpastes that doesn't inflame my gums - like I can feel that, for the hours after using toothpastes - and my super judgy dentist has withdrawn his threats of gum surgery to correct gum recession. So it's really effective. It's just also a mess. On balance, that's a trade worth making.

Believe it or no I actually wrote a published paper about Tom's of main. Its all about how autism and particular brands of toothpaste has helped kids and young adults alike who have autism.

GOT THIS FOR MY 2 SONS ..AGE 6 & 8...THEY LIKE IT JUST FINE...THE ONLY THING IS I WISH IT WAS A LITTLE MORE SOLID..ITS SOFT AND A LIL TOO RUNNY.

I have " geographic tongue", a painful condition aggregated by many food items. If used Toms mango orange until it was discontinued. I tried this children's product and like it even better. No burning or lingering pain.

My little guy loves this toothpaste. It actually gets pretty foamy inside his mouth which encourages spitting - so he doesn't swallow as much fluoride. The taste is not the typical sugary fruit taste or sugary mint taste we have found in other children's toothpastes. It has a fruit taste to it, but a natural fruit taste. Finally my little guy will brush his teeth with a fluoride toothpaste without screaming the whole time!
